The Next Next is a public learning journey. An expedition of sorts. A quest to figure out, as a middle-aged founder, how to build my next company differently in a way that involves large ambition and purpose, while enabling the flexibility and control to be super present and invested with family and school-aged kids.
The hypothesis is that what was once thought of as impossible (having your cake and eating it too) is now becoming possible due to emerging tools like AI that enable builders to do more with less.
The journey is one part weekly newsletter to chronicle the progress (public accountability is quite the motivator!), and one part podcast (an interview-style podcast published weekly with smart, well-placed people who are building differently, at the tip of the spear with AI, or who have other relevant perspectives that will inform this quest). There will be other parts too (like the coming soon page for Fogey Founders and School of Prompt, haha), but part of the fun of the expedition is not knowing where it is going to go!
